3-bedroom shared house, Walsh St

My name is Chris. I'm a recently retired, ex English language teacher and I live alone. Until recently I had been hosting students for a language school in Brisbane, but that school is now closing, so I find myself with two spare rooms and three beds.

I would like to continue hosting students. The University of Southern Queensland campus in Ipswich is very close to my house, and the Springwood campus is not too far away, so if you are planning to study there, my place would be ideal.

I live a fairly quiet life. I enjoy gardening, reading, a bit of artwork and, of course, cooking. I'm broad minded and easy going and respectful of others if that respect is returned and I really do enjoy hosting students, whether from Australia or from around the world.

I live on a spacious block in a lovely old wooden Queenslander. It's quite cosy, with a spacious living area and kitchen, a shared bathroom and two toilets. One of the bedrooms is a sleepout with a double bed, so it's not big, but it is furnished and the adjacent sleepout has a table and chairs for study (there is also a study area in the playroom outside and a large back yard).

The other bedroom is larger and has two single beds, so it's a shared room. All rooms are air conditioned and furnished. Bed linen and towels are provided. Everything is set up for students.

One of the things I enjoyed doing for the students was cooking dinner and I would like to continue cooking dinner if you provide the money for food.
